Optician - Temple, AZ - LensCrafters

As a Licensed Optician at LensCrafters, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that customers receive the best possible optical experience. You will work closely with the store team to provide personalized service and ensure that customers leave the store satisfied with their purchase.

• Welcome and greet all customers, setting expectations and providing a positive first impression
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing guidance and support to colleagues
• Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear, and ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs
• Assist team members with complex product needs and prescriptions, providing expert advice and support
• Use technology effectively, despite time pressure and customer volume, and demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and use of appropriate tools
• Proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities, achieving exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies
• Take pride in store appearance, helping to maintain a clean, attractive, and organized environment
• Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices
• Resourceful, self-motivated, and committed to continual learning, improvement, and results
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management

• High School graduate or equivalent
• State Licensure
• Optical dispensing experience

• Previous customer service and retail experience

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
