We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at The Medical Center of Aurora. As an Inpatient Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients with psychiatric illnesses.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to address their unique requirements.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
- Implement evidence-based practices to promote patient safety, quality of care, and positive outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to manage their mental health and well-being.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
- BLS - Healthcare provider through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- CPI certification within 3 months of hire and re-certification every year thereafter.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN Preferred.
- One year of acute care and one year of inpatient behavioral health experience preferred.
