Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Assistant Director of Special Education to lead our special services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing special services, monitoring budget allocations, and ensuring compliance with related requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Direction: Direct special services, such as ELL, Title 1, after-school programs, STEM, SPED, summer school, transitional, and more services, for the purpose of implementing and maintaining services and programs within established timeframes and in compliance with related requirements.
  • Financial Management: Monitor budget allocations, expenditures, revenues, and related financial activities for the purpose of ensuring that allocations are accurate.
  • Program Development: Monitor intervention program materials, grant proposals, instructional outlines, learning outcomes, and more.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Special Education Director.

Requirements:

  • Certification: State of Wyoming PTSB Administrator Certification
  • Education: Masters degree in education or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: An extensive level of experience working in a school district with the special education program.
