Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Spaulding Hospital - Boston and Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have experience in pelvic health and orthopedic care, with a strong focus on providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients' physical therapy needs in accordance with organizational and professional guidelines.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect an understanding of patients' age and situation, including discharge plans.
  • Revise treatment plans based on patient progress towards stated goals.
  • Document patient information in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with facility and practice guidelines.
  • Orient, train, and mentor therapy and health care students to achieve stated performance expectations.
  • Identify and act upon performance improvement opportunities to implement best practices.
  • Participate in additional department, organization, or network activities as required.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Basic skills in math and computer science.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language.
  • Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques to manage the rehabilitation population.
  • Ability to assess and interact with patients and families using the theories of human growth and development, family systems, and cultural background.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team.
  • Anticipates challenges and develops and implements strategies for addressing them.
  • High level of service delivery, with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations.
