Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled and driven Liquid JavaScript Engineer to contribute significantly to our client's operations, focusing on the enhancement and troubleshooting of Zuora billing workflows and applications. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in Liquid JS/JavaScript workflows related to billing systems and their integration with Salesforce. This role encompasses addressing specific incidents involving unapplied payments, bill run scheduling, and rebate applications, along with both development and support responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and rectify issues pertaining to the accurate processing of workflows within the billing platform.
  • Enhance and update workflows to guarantee the precise processing of all payments and credits.
  • Implement and evaluate improvements in workflows and synchronization between the billing platform and Salesforce.
  • Develop and integrate mechanisms for error handling, reporting, and user communication.
  • Adjust bill run execution and rebate application workflows to meet specified requirements, ensuring correct bill run number assignments and execution timings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Zuora or other Liquid JS/JavaScript-based billing systems: Extensive experience in developing and managing Zuora workflows, billing systems, and Salesforce integrations.
  • Experience in optimizing workflows, validating system parameters, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve intricate workflow issues, including data synchronization and application errors.
  • Strong skills in documenting modifications, engaging with users, and providing support for workflow-related inquiries.
  • Experience in creating test cases, performing regression tests, and ensuring the accuracy of system modifications.

Technical Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of billing system configuration, workflow logic, data synchronization, and error management.
  • Experience with LiquidJS/JavaScript or similar template engines for crafting and modifying templates and workflows.
  • Capability to manage integrations between Zuora, Salesforce, and other systems, ensuring precise data synchronization and workflow execution.
  • Strong grasp of SQL and experience with stored procedures for managing complex queries and data manipulation.
  • Solid experience with JavaScript, particularly in the context of template engines and front-end scripting, to support custom billing logic and user interfaces.
