Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Recreational Therapy Specialist to provide a comprehensive range of therapeutic activities tailored to the developmental needs of individuals with mental health challenges or disabilities within the correctional system.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a variety of professional recreational therapy interventions and activities aimed at the therapeutic rehabilitation of individuals in our care.
- Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team to assess needs, develop, and implement recreational therapy strategies and interventions.
- Manage cases for a designated group of individuals, ensuring personalized and effective treatment plans.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in recreational therapy is required.
- For the Recreational Therapist 9 level, no specific experience is necessary.
- For the Recreational Therapist 10 level, a minimum of one year of relevant professional experience is required.
- For the Recreational Therapist P11 level, two years of professional experience in recreational therapy is necessary, including at least one year at the 10 level.

Work Environment:
This position offers the potential for a hybrid work model, allowing for up to 50% remote work. However, it is expected that the initial two weeks will be conducted in-office to facilitate training and acclimatization to the role.
