Position Overview:

The Site Superintendent will oversee and coordinate all concrete operations at various job sites. Responsibilities include managing foremen, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and within budget, and upholding safety and quality standards. The following outlines the key responsibilities associated with this role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all job site activities, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols
  • Maintain regular communication with project owners and their representatives
  • Address and resolve conflicts to prevent delays and claims
  • Guide field personnel on essential project processes and policies
  • Plan and manage field operations, including construction methods, workforce, material needs, equipment, and timelines


Essential Duties:
  • Collaborate with office personnel on production rates, construction techniques, and schedules
  • Engage in regular meetings with local office staff
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of industry best practices and innovations
  • Proactively solve issues as they arise using available resources
  • Comprehend and implement the company's labor relations policies
  • Communicate and uphold the company's commitment to integrity and ethical standards
  • Perform additional relevant tasks as assigned


Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in concrete or heavy civil construction. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, self-motivated, and possess excellent computer proficiency, including word processing and spreadsheet applications. Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills are essential for collaborating positively with team members.
