Qualifications Required:
  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (or pending application).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated work ethic in independent and collaborative environments.
  • Willingness to travel and work in various treatment settings, including outpatient pediatrics and schools.
  • Basic understanding of treatment models used in educational and Early Intervention contexts.
  • Experience in school settings is preferred but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough and compassionate evaluations for new patients, establish realistic goals, and create actionable treatment plans.
  • Deliver ongoing occupational therapy services that align with treatment plans, IEPs, and IFSPs as applicable.
  • Document all evaluations, treatments, and relevant patient interactions in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Skillfully advance patients through treatment stages based on their individual capabilities.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and care teams to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of treatment.
  • Educate and empower patients, families, and caregivers throughout the therapy process.
  • Pursue continuous professional development through participation in professional associations, workshops, and conferences.
