About the Role

This Cardiac Rehab Specialist I position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the evaluation and treatment of patients referred to our Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and develop rehabilitation programs for cardiac patients aged 13 years old and above.
  • Assist in the ongoing development of cardiac rehabilitation services.
Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in cardiac or pulmonary rehabilitation or completion of a cardiac rehabilitation internship of at least 400 hours (East Market).
  • Meets Core Competencies as defined by AACVPR for Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist.
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field (East Market) or completion of an exercise physiology program (West Market and Brainerd Lakes).
Certification/Licensure Requirements

Please note that certification or licensure may be required within specific timeframes, depending on your location:

  • BCLS certification within 1 month of hire.
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
  • ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) or AACVPR Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) certification within 1 year of hire (East Market).
  • ACSM certification at the exercise specialist level within 2 years of employment or a current RN license in ND with Cardiac Rehabilitation certification within 2 years (West and Central Markets).
