Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse in our ICU department, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to a group of patients assigned to you, based on matching their needs with your competencies.
  • Complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
  • Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • AHA ACLS certification within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.
  • AHA PALS certification within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.
  • AHA NRP certification within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.
  • S.T.A.B.L.E. certification for NICU- Level 2 Nursery, or obtain within 6 months of hire or transfer date into unit.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Two years of experience in acute care, with previous clinical nursing experience in med/surg, telemetry, or ICU.
