Job OverviewWe're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrophysiology Technician to join our team in Norfolk, Virginia. This 13-week travel assignment offers a unique chance to gain new experiences, build your skills, and earn a competitive salary.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
This position requires a strong technical background, with experience in using various medical equipment and software. You'll also need to be able to communicate complex information to patients and their families in a clear and compassionate manner.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for electrophysiology procedures, ensuring they understand the process and any necessary precautions.
- Operate and maintain various medical devices, including ECG machines and defibrillators.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes or concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, adhering to safety protocols, and contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Degree in Cardiovascular Technology or a related field.
- At least one year of experience as an Electrophysiology Technician.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
