Job Summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Biomedical Engineer to support defense analytical requirements with enhanced scientific and bio-engineering research, reverse bio-engineering analysis and characterizations, facility and vulnerability assessments, and analytic production on foreign biomedical capabilities.

About the Role

As a Biomedical Engineer, you will combine your knowledge of biology, medicine, and engineering to examine medical devices, equipment, and systems. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, scientists, and researchers to identify supply chain vulnerabilities and assist various challenges that arrive in the field of biomedical engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and IC boundaries and clearly articulate key findings

Develop and implement comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks

Identify and analyze biological threats and vulnerabilities to biological programs, including logistics and security research, development, and testing

Requirements

8+ years of experience with biological threats analysis and vulnerabilities to biological programs, including logistics and security research, development, and testing

Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular or Microbiology, Public Health, Immunology, Virology, Biotechnology, or Biodefense
