Remote Special Education Teaching Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team as a remote educator. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.

About the Role

This is a full-time or part-time position, with flexible hours to accommodate your needs. As a Virtual Special Education Teacher, you will work with students in Oregon, utilizing our online platform to deliver high-quality education and support.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual assessments, evaluations, and testing to identify student needs and develop effective plans.
  • Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's requirements.
  • Provide direct instruction and support via our online platform, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordinated support.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with educational standards.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.
  • A valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Special Education.
  • Proficiency in virtual instruction technology, including our online platform.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to diversity and inclusion in education.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000-$75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a 1099 contract with renewal opportunities, providing flexibility and stability.
