Key Responsibilities
  • Perform structural and bridge analysis and calculations
  • Prepare structural and bridge engineering plans, specifications, estimates, and other supporting documents
  • Conduct conceptual engineering studies
  • Provide preliminary engineering and final design
  • Mentor and develop less experienced staff
  • Prepare reports
  • Participate in in-service bridge inspections and construction observation/contractor coordination
Requirements
  • 4-8+ years of civil engineering work-related experience in bridge design
  • Experience in bridge design, steel girder design, and software knowledge of BGS, PG super, RISA, Bridge Leap, and MicroStation
  • Professional structural engineer license required
