About the Job

The Security Officer position involves actively monitoring premises, including patrolling various locations to preserve order and enforce regulations and directives for client sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol assigned site on foot or in vehicle to ensure compliance with security protocols
  • Respond to emergency situations, exercising rapid judgment, escalation, and appropriate use of force as necessary
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, government agencies, and the community to maintain a secure environment
  • Document incidents, unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, and other observed issues through detailed incident reports
  • Screen all individuals entering public areas to prevent prohibited items from entering facilities
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and utilize tablets, computers, or smartphones to enhance situational awareness
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Calm, polite, and professional behavior
  • Reliability and self-motivation
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A minimum of 21 years of age (or older)
