Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team at The Henry. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of classic cocktail recipes, basic cocktail construction, and possess general bartender fundamentals. They will be responsible for providing great hospitality, making genuine recommendations, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, and wine to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of our menu and be able to make recommendations to guests.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that every guest has a positive experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, including the bar area and surrounding spaces.
  • Work effectively in a high-volume environment and respond to on-the-fly requests with ease and poise.
  • Have experience and proficiency using Point of Sale Systems.
  • Follow all local alcoholic beverage laws, company policies, and procedures.
  • Be available to work weekends and some holidays, as well as fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of recent, high-volume bartending experience.
  • Bourbon knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to stand for long periods of time, and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • General knowledge regarding classic cocktail recipes, basic cocktail construction, and general bartender fundamentals.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
