Gallery Attendant Job Summary

The University of New Mexico's Maxwell Museum is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Gallery Attendant to provide exceptional service to visitors and support the museum's daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with opening and closing procedures to ensure a smooth and secure museum experience.
  • Greet and assist visitors, providing information on museum rules and exhibitions, and issuing parking permits as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily visitor numbers and perform other administrative tasks.
  • Provide coverage in the museum gift shop and run errands to various UNM departments as required.
  • Collaborate with museum staff to ensure the upkeep and installation of exhibitions, and perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Customer service oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
