Position Overview:
The Power Systems Division is seeking a dynamic individual to become part of our Electrical Engineering team.

This role is crucial in exploring, developing, and executing electrical design solutions for innovative engine-driven products.

The primary focus areas for development will include rotating magnetics design, power supply design, power electronics, as well as analog and digital control circuits.

The ideal candidate will possess strong motivation and exceptional communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams, marketing, and product management to create innovative and dependable products that meet customer requirements.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design solutions that align with project objectives and position PSD products for sustainable growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with electrical, software, mechanical, and welding engineers to transition projects from concept to implementation.
  • Exhibit proactive problem-solving skills through troubleshooting techniques, testing, and redesign as necessary.
  • Conduct testing and documentation for new designs.
  • Engage in project meetings and manage assigned action items.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and project deliverables.
  • Drive projects forward with cross-functional technical leadership.
  • Identify innovative, patentable solutions to meet market demands.
Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required, with 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred. Candidates should have experience in power electronics design, particularly with switch mode power supplies producing up to 35kW. Familiarity with full-bridge, half-bridge, buck, boost, flyback, and forward converters is essential.

Additionally, a working knowledge of power conversion control systems, mixed analog and digital design, and troubleshooting capabilities is necessary. Understanding of electrical circuitry design for both digital and analog applications is expected.

Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware technology, including reading electrical schematics and utilizing multimeters and oscilloscopes, is also required.
