Patient Care Coordinator - Medical/Surgical Unit
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.

We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas team. As a Patient Care Coordinator on our Medical/Surgical Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a safe environment for patients and staff.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients of all ages and backgrounds, utilizing your knowledge of the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
  • In collaboration with the healthcare team, you will develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans that address physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • You will work closely with licensed practitioners to provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient responses.
  • Your expertise will also extend to delegating tasks to unlicensed personnel, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
  • You will maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient care and unit activities, adhering to established standards and guidelines.

Benefits and Requirements:

  • A competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
  • Current RN license in the State of Texas.
  • BLS certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • No experience required, but prior experience in a medical/surgical setting is preferred.
