About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Supervisor to join our team at Smith, Elliott, Kearns & Company. As an Audit Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading and managing audit engagements, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality services and that our firm maintains its reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to improve our services and processes
  • Collaborate with other teams, including tax and consulting, to provide comprehensive services to our clients
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 4+ years of public accounting experience, with a focus on auditing and financial services
  • CPA license or in the process of obtaining it
  • Leadership experience and a desire to participate in leadership opportunities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
