Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Locum Physician to fill a temporary position in our Obstetrics and Gynecology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive healthcare for women across all stages of life.
- Conduct gynecological exams, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Perform surgical procedures, such as hysterectomies, cesarean sections, and minimally invasive surgeries (depending on scope of practice).
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of women's health conditions.
- Provide counseling on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as pediatricians and neonatologists, for optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients.
- Stay current on the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology through continuing education.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Residency training program in obstetrics and gynecology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
- Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the AOA.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Arizona.
- At least one year of experience providing obstetric and gynecological care in a clinical or hospital setting.
