Cybersecurity Specialist

Axiologic Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer - Expert to lead our team in delivering top-notch security solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with expertise in risk management, compliance, and security architecture.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing assessments of systems and networks, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing mitigation strategies. They will also establish strict program control processes to ensure the mitigation of risks and support the certification and accreditation of systems.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Implementing government policies, such as NISPOM and DCID 6-3, and making recommendations on process tailoring.
- Supporting the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority.
- Documenting the results of Certification and Accreditation activities and preparing the system Security Plans and update the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POAM).
- Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the process of accrediting a system through it.
- Knowledge of network monitoring and vulnerability detection tools, such as Nessus, Rapid7, Splunk, and Xacta.
- Strong competency with Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer science, Engineering, or related field and a minimum of nine (9) years of relevant experience.
