Graduate Nursing Educator for Adjunct Pool

North Central College, IL invites applicants for adjunct instructors in graduate nursing. As a key member of our academic team, you will teach online courses, develop curriculum, and contribute to the growth of our program.
The ideal candidate will possess an MSN or MS in Nursing degree from an accredited institution and active Illinois RN licensure. A terminal degree is preferred, and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Educator is also beneficial. Prior teaching experience in graduate nursing education and proficiency in technology/course management systems are essential. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality educational services, promoting a flexible and inclusive work environment, and engaging in professional development opportunities. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and faculty, adhere to FERPA laws, and maintain confidentiality when necessary.
We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This is a non-benefits eligible, fixed-term appointment with no tenure eligibility. The number of courses assigned will depend on unit needs, funding, and sufficient enrollment.
