Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Pet Host to join our team at PetSuites. As a Pet Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the well-being and safety of our pets, and contributing to the overall success of our pet resort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Pet Care: Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our pets, including administering medication, feeding, and providing exercise and playtime.
  • Check-In/Check-Out: Handle check-in and check-out procedures for arriving and departing pets, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Reservations and Scheduling: Make boarding reservations, book grooming, training, and temperament test appointments, and schedule daycare reservations.
  • Cash Handling and Reporting: Manage cash, check, and credit card transactions, and reconcile reports as needed.
  • Client Communication: Interact and communicate closely with clients, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond to client needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Pet Care Experience: Previous experience in pet care, including animal handling, feeding, and exercise.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, as needed.
