Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Vehicle Engineer/Vehicle Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Mechanical Systems Engineering team, you will be responsible for researching, planning, designing, and developing mechanical products and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and develop mechanical products and systems, including instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines, and mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer systems.
  • Apply research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
  • 0-2 years of experience in mechanical systems engineering, depending on the level of the position.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) as determined by business needs.
