Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Care Specialist to provide top-notch medical and surgical care for patients at Woodworth Animal Hospital, a privately owned veterinary hospital serving pets and their families in the Shenandoah Valley. The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing the latest procedures and standards of care in accordance with national/state standards and laws governing veterinary medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide full-service medical and surgical care for patients
  • Utilize current national/state standards of care and laws governing veterinary medicine
  • Maintain licensure as a DVM or VMD in good standing from an accredited veterinary college

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to lift 50 pounds unaided. A competitive salary is offered: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
