Job Summary

PPL is seeking a highly skilled Regional Maintenance Supervisor to join its Property Management Team. This role is responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians assigned to a specific portfolio, providing on-site supervision of their daily work performance, participating in their training and professional development, and working in close coordination with the Regional Property Managers to achieve the mission of the organization and support the goals of the Facilities Manager and Department Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Provide on-site supervision and guidance to maintenance technicians to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the training and professional development of maintenance technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Work closely with Regional Property Managers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of work orders and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and develop plans to address them.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Manager and Capital Improvements Manager to develop and implement capital improvement projects.
  • Represent PPL in a professional and courteous manner at all times, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Boilers license required, HVAC certification preferred.
  • Minimum seven years experience in residential building maintenance, including drywall, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, tile, screen and window repair, and appliance repair.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record; own vehicle and proof of auto insurance.
