Per Diem Pharmacist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Per Diem Pharmacist to join our team at PharmaCann LLC. As a Per Diem Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and maximizing revenue goals in our retail dispensary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive retail sales and patient retention through effective sales training and product knowledge.
  • Maintain all store operational standards, including inventory management and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee inventory standards and ensure accurate and safe protocols are maintained.
  • Operate POS and corresponding systems, ensuring seamless transactions and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state laws.
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients and employees, adhering to quality assurance protocols.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and handle all patient-related issues in accordance with company policy.
  • Promote a positive experience for all patients, developing high customer experience standards and engagement through sales training and product knowledge.
  • Direct and oversee patient interactions, providing clinical oversight and coordinating with practitioners to facilitate positive patient outcomes.
  • Develop a deep understanding of cannabis forms, dosing, drug interactions, and side effects, recommending dosing based on patient conditions.
  • Follow all processes to ensure accurate and safe protocols are maintained, ensuring on-the-job safety of all employees and treatment for employee injuries sustained on the job.
  • Supervise and coordinate delivery operations, providing clinical oversight and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current Pharmacist license in good standing.
  • Flexible availability, including willingness to fill in for scheduled vacations and unscheduled shifts.
  • 3 years of multi-unit retail or similar operation experience.
  • Required state/local licenses/permits/certifications for work being performed.
  • Exceptional people skills, organizational skills, and ability to project a positive image of the organization.
  • Passionate about medical marijuana and willingness to become knowledgeable about the benefits and effects of cannabis-based products.
Working Conditions:

The Per Diem Pharmacist will be required to sit for long periods of time and get in and out of an automobile several times a day. Will be required to drive and be outside for brief periods of time during all four seasons.
