Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and sustain automated testing frameworks that ensure comprehensive functional, regression, and integration coverage for microservices related to order processing.
  • Create scalable automation tests for microservices that interact with various partner systems.
  • Identify, report, and track issues discovered during automation testing.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to establish automation use cases.
  • Design tools and scripts to validate data exchanged with partner systems.
  • Coordinate with teams across different geographical locations and time zones.
  • Engage in hands-on coding, debugging, and enhancement of automation scripts using Javascript, Typescript, and NodeJS.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of quality assurance experience focused on backend services and microservices architecture. At least 6 years of experience in automation testing for web applications and 3 years for mobile applications. Proficient coding skills in Javascript, Typescript, and NodeJS are essential.

Experience in the eCommerce domain, particularly in the purchase journey, is preferred. Familiarity with automation using stub and mocked data from integrated systems, along with hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL, is required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial. Knowledge of Agile Testing Quadrants and building is advantageous.
