Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cardio Diagnostic Technician I to join our team at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic team, you will be responsible for performing electrocardiograms (EKGs) and Holter monitor applications for both inpatient and outpatient exams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform EKGs and Holter monitor exams with precision and accuracy, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Process and transmit EKG and Holter monitor data to designated software applications.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure exams are available for physician interpretation.
  • Ensure exams are completed with accurate paperwork and reconciliation.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education.
  • None to six months of basic EKG and/or Holter monitor experience.
  • Certified EKG Technician (NHA) or equivalent certification within 18 months.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience with multiple computer systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and team player skills.
  • Ability to adapt to multiple ongoing priorities with minimal supervision.
Work Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced hospital environment with frequent exposure to patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
