About the Role

Zephyr, a rapidly growing tech-enabled home services platform, seeks an experienced Director of Strategic Procurement to lead vendor and inventory management initiatives. This full-time role will be responsible for negotiating national agreements with OEMs and distributors, ensuring efficient logistics systems, and promoting a culture of technician support at all Zephyr Branches.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing and rebates, and ensure compliance with negotiated terms.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce expenses through optimized purchasing and logistics practices.
  • Create and promulgate standard operating procedures (SOPs) for purchasing, receiving, warehouse operations, vehicle materials stock, and vehicle maintenance across all Zephyr Branches.
  • Foster a culture of efficiency and innovation, ensuring technicians receive necessary materials in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • HVAC experience, preferably OEM or distributor background, is essential.
  • Proven track record in vendor management, negotiation, and cost reduction.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to promote a culture of excellence, and drive business growth.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A competitive base salary of $150,000/year or more, depending on qualifications, skills, and location.
