Job Description:
A.T. Still University's Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health seeks a highly skilled and experienced Preclinical Restorative Dental Faculty member to lead its pre-clinical instruction program. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing didactic and simulation clinic coursework, assessing student learning, and contributing to research and scholarly activity.

The selected individual will work closely with the Assistant Dean of Simulation Clinic and Pre-Clinical Education to develop and implement curriculum changes, improve student outcomes, and enhance the overall quality of the program. They will also engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in restorative dentistry education.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement didactic and simulation clinic coursework for pre-clinical instruction in restorative dentistry
  2. Assess student learning and progress in pre-clinical settings
  3. Contribute to research and scholarly activity in restorative dentistry education
  4. Work with the Assistant Dean of Simulation Clinic and Pre-Clinical Education to develop and implement curriculum changes
  5. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in restorative dentistry education

Requirements:
  • Doctorate or better
  • DMD/DDS/BDS, post-doctoral certificate or Prosthodontics training is highly desired
  • Restorative dentistry experience
  • Pre-doctoral curriculum assessment and development experience
  • 3-5 years in dental education, especially at the pre-doctoral level

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
