Job Title: 3rd Shift Yard Hostler/Loader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Yard Hostler/Loader to join our team at Core-Mark. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting tractor trailers on our property, loading and unloading cargo, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport tractor trailers to and from loading docks and designated parking areas
  • Load and unload cargo in a safe and timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and colleagues to ensure accurate and timely information exchange
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
  • Collaborate with the operations team to achieve departmental goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 6+ months of driving experience (internal candidates may be considered with less experience)
  • Valid commercial driver's license
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Able to lift and move product cases/freight of varying size and weight
