At Ridedart, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fixed Route Driver to join our team. As a Fixed Route Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers on 40-foot buses along assigned routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick up and drop off passengers according to the schedule, ensuring a safe and efficient experience
  • Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, securing wheelchairs and medical equipment as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and trip logs of driving activities
  • Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability

Requirements:

  • 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class C Iowa Driver's License
  • Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License with Passenger and Airbrake endorsements
  • Pass a pre-employment background check and DOT physical

What We Offer:

  • Paid CDL training with license reimbursement
  • $2,000 sign-on bonus for newly hired drivers
  • $3,000 sign-on bonus for drivers with a valid CDL and passenger and airbrake endorsements
  • Competitive hourly rate of $25.49 after one year
