We are seeking a highly skilled GMP Sanitation Specialist to join our team in Boothwyn, Philadelphia.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for leading the daily execution of cleaning/sanitization procedures of the facility, equipment, and instruments. You will comply with and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, interpreting schedules and making decisions to maximize the flow of cleaning activities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead Cleaning Activities: Review and second-check cleaning of equipment and associated documentation, liaising with Material Management, and arranging orders for manufacturing consumables.
  • Document Cleaning: Ensure accurate documentation of cleaning activities in corresponding GMP documents and follow GMP procedures in cleaning and documentation.
  • Train Personnel: Train personnel on GMP Area Cleaning and equipment cleaning procedures.
  • Sanitize and Disinfect: Perform facility sanitization and equipment cleaning procedures, as well as disassemble and clean equipment with minimal supervision.

Additional Requirements

  • Carry out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations, including FDA, EPA, OSHA, and DEA guidelines.
  • Comply with all company and site policies and procedures.
  • Make suggestions for improvement, provide overtime as needed, learn new skills, and take on other duties as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Experience in GMP manufacturing or equipment maintenance/calibrations is preferred.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, and Windows Operating System.
  • Experience and knowledge of cleaning within a GMP regulated environment are preferred.
