Bakery Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bakery Clerk to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market. As a Bakery Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that our bakery products are of the highest quality.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the bakery department.
• Ensure that bakery products are of the highest quality, including freshness and presentation.
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment, including ovens and mixers.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.

Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have 1-2 years of bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable, with the ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Be able to stand for up to 3 hours continuously, for a total of 8 hours per shift.
