- Meet weekly with the Beverage Manager to review revenue and cost forecasts, ensuring alignment with departmental goals.
- Maintain accurate inventory and control of equipment, ensuring efficient departmental operations.
- Review controls to ensure costs are in line with forecasts, identifying areas for improvement.
- Conduct daily walk-throughs of beverage service bars and floor outlets, addressing any deficiencies.
- Work with other departments to ensure proper execution of liquor service policies, maintaining a cohesive team approach.
- Monitor actions throughout the casino to ensure compliance with all liquor laws, maintaining a safe and responsible environment.
- Oversee disciplinary actions and terminations, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of team members.
- Generate 5 X 15 reports and Kronos reports, providing valuable insights for departmental improvement.
- Inspect staff on uniform, cleanliness, identification, and other essential aspects, ensuring a professional image.
- Ensure a safe working environment for employees, maintaining a culture of respect and well-being.
The Beverage Assistant Manager has supervisory responsibilities, including departmental hiring, corrective action, terminations, and team member relation issues.
Qualifications and GuidelinesA High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least 2 years relative experience is required to successfully perform this job.
Communication SkillsThis position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSThis position requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning AbilityThis position requires the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsQualify to obtain a class A Gaming License.
Skills/Abilities- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Preferred experience with Micros POS.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and guests.
