We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team at a custom metal fabrication plant in the Coraopolis area. As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing pipe systems for gas, water, and air.
Key Responsibilities- Operate overhead cranes to move heavy equipment and materials
- Read blueprints and use tape measures to ensure accurate installations
- Use gas cutting torches, grinders, pipe threaders, and welders to fabricate and install pipes
- Assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems of various sizes
- Operate forklifts to move materials and equipment
- Perform basic math calculations and apply geometry principles to ensure accurate installations
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality
- Two years of experience with overhead cranes is required
- Ability to read blueprints and use tape measures
- Basic math skills and knowledge of geometry
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a standing position for extended periods
- Competitive hourly rate of $19-$26 based on experience
- Weekly pay every Friday
