Chess Wizards is seeking experienced and passionate Chess Tutors to join our after-school enrichment program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach chess to children in a fun and interactive manner.
• Cultivate a love for the game and develop students' problem-solving skills.
• Conduct classes with 10-15 kids and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Encourage good sportsmanship and promote a growth mindset.
• Utilize Chess Wizards' curriculum and class materials to deliver engaging lessons.
• Maintain promptness and punctuality, and be able to drive between locations.

Requirements:

• Some chess ability (Champion level not required, but a great attitude is essential).
• USCF rating is a plus.
• Teaching/tutoring/camp counselor experience is a plus.
• The ability to teach young ones that knowledge and creativity are true magic.
• The talent to encourage connections between chess problem-solving with real-life problem-solving.
