Associate Systems Engineer

At Energy Management Collaborative (EMC), we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the design and engineering of building controls projects, programming controllers, and developing and maintaining system standards.
Key Responsibilities- Document technical requirements for project sites
- Create, modify, and/or edit technical documents such as as-builts, and floorplans
- Work collaboratively with other EMC teams to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner consistent with customer expectations
- Work collaboratively with a team of Controls personnel
- Set high standards that align with the organization's goals
- Programming station templates
- Programming field controllers
- Other duties as assigned
- Understanding of Niagara based controls systems
- Understanding of N4 and A/X "operating systems"
- Strong technical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, lighting, and other building systems
- Clear communication both written and oral
- Inquisitiveness and willingness to learn
- Experience with Niagara software, HVAC controls, and building management system (BMS) operation
- This position operates in a professional office environment and requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds
- Travel up to 25% as necessary
