Host/Cashier II

The Host/Cashier II is a key member of the Viejas Casino team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences in our dining areas. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, cash handling, and teamwork.

• Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcome and seat guests in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Cash Handling and Operations: Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions, and balance checks at the end of the shift.
• Guest Service and Support: Assist servers with table maintenance, take To-Go orders, and provide accurate wait times to guests.
• Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with restaurant servers, bussers, and other team members to ensure seamless service and a clean, safe work environment.

• Education and Certification: High school diploma or general education degree required; Food Handler's Card and RASS or TIPS Certification of alcohol awareness program required within 90 days of employment.
• Experience and Skills: 1-2 years of related experience in a restaurant as a host and/or a cashier; cash handling and POS experience required; strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
