About the Role:
The Warehouse Team Lead at TreeHouse Foods is responsible for overseeing the assembly and loading of customer orders in a timely and accurate manner. This role requires close collaboration with the Production and Quality departments to ensure all orders are fulfilled promptly, completely, and accurately. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and direct Warehouse Associates to assemble, load, and ship customer orders in a timely manner.
- Monitor order accuracy, productivity levels, and general maintenance of the Warehouse.
- Review daily shipment schedules and plans, and prioritize work schedules to meet customer and company delivery requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance on following company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all company safety policies are followed, and conduct safety inspections, tool box talks, and safety observations as requested.
- Maintain all Warehouse standards, including SQF, OSHA, and Sanitation.
- Conduct physical inventories as needed, and work with inventory control on cycle counts.
- Report Food Safety and Food Quality problems to the appropriate personnel, and follow quality and safety programs and policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum HS diploma, Associate degree a plus, and/or work experience equivalent.
- Ability to drive a forklift, walk, sit, bend, stoop, reach, climb, and lift up to 50lbs.
- Working knowledge of JDE, SAP, BluJay programs, and Microsoft Office Suite software a plus.
