Job Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing maintenance services and repairs in various areas, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall, electrical, mechanical, and more. This position requires a strong understanding of maintenance concepts, practices, and procedures, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work
  • Repair and maintain equipment, machinery, and facilities
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures
  • Collaborate with senior technicians and management to ensure effective maintenance operations
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in a related field preferred
  • Intermediate mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of necessary tools and applications
  • Basic understanding of modern technology, including mobile devices, PCs, and Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to interpret building prints and drawings
  • Valid driver's license required
