Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at IU Health Arnett Hospital. This is a travel position with a rotating Monday-Friday schedule, with possible starting times between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and imaging services in a fast-paced nuclear medicine environment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, including positron emission tomography (PET) and single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) scanners.
  • Develop and implement radiation safety protocols to minimize patient exposure and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, including possible holiday call requirements.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Active status through the American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) required.
  • Current Indiana State Department of Health license as Nuclear Medicine Technologist required.
  • Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
