About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team at Analytical Mechanics Associates. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and analyzing finite element models of impact dynamics events, working closely with our research and engineering teams to develop and improve model fidelity. This includes comparing simulation results with empirical data and presenting findings to internal stakeholders and customers at project meetings, branch meetings, and design reviews.

Required qualifications include a PhD in Structural Engineering and demonstrated experience using LS-DYNA. This is a sensitive position requiring US Citizenship or Permanent Residence and a government clearance or eligibility for one.
