Job Title: Information Assurance/Security Specialist

Job Summary:

I2X Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Information Assurance/Security Specialist to support our customer at Eglin AFB in Florida. This vital position will be onsite, supporting our client in a cybersecurity test and evaluation environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage Information Systems cyber security, including disaster recovery, database protection, and software development.
  • Manage security personnel to ensure that all applications are functional and secure.
  • Establish and satisfy information assurance and security requirements based on user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.
  • Implement procedures and methods for auditing and addressing non-compliance to information security standards.
  • Evaluate the organization to ensure compliance with standards and relevance with industry security norms.
  • Protect against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction.
  • Understand DoD security policies and their application.
  • Manage subordinate security staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Ensure that security milestones/goals are met.

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree within a related field or its equivalent in related work experience.
  • 4 or more years of related experience.
  • 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience is required.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand, and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distances from parking to work stations.

Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required.

The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception, and telling differences among colors.

The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public.

Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments.

Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds.

This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
