Pastry Chef

Castaway is seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and plating desserts according to established recipes and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the kitchen team to create visually appealing desserts
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and healthy environment
• Maintain a well-organized workspace to ensure efficient service
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Assist with inventory and ordering as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a pastry cook is required
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Positive attitude, team player, and ability to work collaboratively with others
• Flexibility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
