Cardiovascular Nurse - Full Time Days

At Carondelet St. Marys Hospital, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiovascular Nurse to join our team in a Full Time Days position. As a Cardiovascular Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides direct nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
  • Assesses patient condition, develops and implements individualized care plans, and evaluates patient progress.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Administers medications, performs procedures, and provides education to patients and families.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives and contributes to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or others as required by individual department.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
