About the Role:
The Surgical Intensive Care Unit Assistant Nurse Manager will work closely with the SICU Manager and Director, as well as collaborate with esteemed physicians in the department. This advanced leadership position requires strong leadership background, ability to guide staff, and work collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional leadership and guidance to nursing staff in the SICU setting
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Recruit, train, and develop nursing staff to meet the needs of the SICU
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing constructive feedback and coaching as needed
Requirements:
- Current NY State RN Licensure
- BSN Degree
- 3-5 years recent clinical nursing experience in SICU setting
- ACLS certification
- Prior strong leadership experience in the Intensive Care acute hospital setting
