Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Northridge Hospital Medical Center. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert nutritional care to patients, ensuring they receive the best possible guidance for their dietary needs during their hospital stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient nutritional assessments and develop personalized plans of care.
- Utilize evidence-based assessment and evaluation techniques that consider age-specific populations, cultural, religious, and ethnic concerns.
- Document patient progress, actions, and outcomes in a thorough and accurate manner.
- Create educational materials to meet the diverse needs of patients and clinical professionals.
- Serve as a valuable resource and collaborate with the multidisciplinary medical team on nutrition-related matters.
- Participate in regular care planning meetings, rounds, and kitchen test trays.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian.
- Working experience in an acute care hospital is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
- Valid registration as a Registered Dietitian.
Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 (dependent on experience).
